  1. What do you think to the CMF Phone? A fascinating new ecosystem, or yet another gimmick?
Quick correction, turns out the phone is IP52 not IPX2 (which means it's a little better than I was originally told!)
I managed to get hold of some of the rarest tech in the world btw, that video is here 🫑: https://youtu.be/AClfhmJYyNc

  2. its just simply not. i had high hopes for nothing and cmf but they become what they wanted. a generic phone company. like bro, still no e sim? and cmf phone also no nfc? wtf?

  3. 2000 nits peak brightness? That display is going to be so bright outdoors and running lag-free with D7300 SoC!

  4. Ever wonder what CMF stands for? It’s all about ""Color, Material, Finish,"" perfectly paired with MediaTek Dimensity 7300 in the CMF Phone 1!

  5. If you're looking for a phone that won't slow down over time, the CMF Phone 1 with its Dimensity 7300 is the way to go. This chip is built to last.

  6. nowadays not being waterprotected for an expensive device like this, is just a nogo, even tho i like everything about it. i sometimes take a bath and my phone very rarely but does slip out of my hands and into the water. im glad its waterproof, at least in freshwater πŸ˜€

  7. why are most tech creators using weird resolutions ? why aint this video in 16:9

  8. I did for both mine I have Toshiba. Didn't work for me, but will keep trying. I myself am on my third remote for the stick and none of them will sync. I am willing to try anything that does not involve me spending more money. Help.. Thank you.

  9. Excellent video. Your voice is tuned so very perfectly for your videos, coming across so very clearly and precisely. I'm not in the market for a new phone. But to watch & listen to you is sheer pleasure.

  10. Thanks CMF. I love removable batteries and was quite disillusioned with all phones going the glue route. Recently bought the nothing phone 2a, but if I saw this video, I think I would've gone for this phone. Water proofing is nice, but I can't remember the last time my phone was dunked in water.

  11. im 100% buying a nothing phone after a few years when my samsung starts going bad

  12. If you can't swap the battery out, I feel like there's no point in sacrificing the dust and water resistance. It's unfortunate, because a smart phone with a replaceable battery would be a game changer.

  13. This looks fun! I really miss that. Tech used to be fun. I like what these people are doing, and I'm seriously considering dumping Samsung, getting rid of my s23 ultra and just buying one of these. I just get so frustrated with my phone lately. today I found I can't even give my app a unique notification sound. I'd have to go through and set a sound for every. single. category.

  14. The name… πŸ™„ Sony first introduced the concept of *CMF (Color, Material, Finish)* in 2014. CMF refers to the design philosophy and approach focused on how the color, material, and finish of a product contribute to its overall aesthetic, tactile experience, and brand identity. This approach has been a key part of Sony's design language, influencing how their products are perceived in terms of quality and user experience.
