  1. This game continues to look better and better. Like, at the start- “oh, cool. 7 boards, a nice sized roster with at least 21 characters, a ton of mini games, and cool side modes. What more could they possibly have in the game, though?”

Now- “SINGLE PLAYER?! ALLY SYSTEM IS REVAMPED!? SO MANY ITEMS! ALL THESE SIDE MODES LOOK REALLY INTERESTING! And Broozer is sus! …But that one might not mean anything. But it’s still exciting!”

Like, man, I really cannot wait to get my hands on this game. It looks really fun!

  2. If you need more translations than the following ones for your upcoming video please do ask Swiftjar and also anyone else who is just curious about it!
2:16 By now you might've already seen the translated trailer, but Yoshi's ability is copying the item of another player.
6:51 "Ah, [so] busy, [so] busy…" is what Kamek says, on the left there's written "Going around the resort island, aim at [becoming] the master helper – Party Helper Journey – Help Kamek", above the image "Urgent recruitment" while under it "As the assistance for the party grounds equipment isn't enough, [Kamek] is troubled"
7:30 "Bodily Sensation Party Island – For the people who want to have fun with various experiences using the body"
7:34 "Mode Guide – 3 bodily sensation games that can be played – Shaking the Joy-Con, prepare dishes, soar the sky, move factory parts. We have prepared 3 bodily sensation games that can be enjoyed with ease." (The note says that you need one Joy-Con per person except for Paratroopa Adventure – i.e. Flight School – which requires a full set)
7:39 "Welcome to a showtime of cooking and music – Rhythm Cooking – You can participate in a show where you make various dishes with 4 chefs collaborating. What's needed for highest rank dishes is taste and energetic performance(s). How much will you be able to appeal to the spectators?- Collaborate as 4 people"
7:50 "Matching the music, cut vegetables with good timing, arrange fruit etc. Aim at [becoming a] 5 star superstar chef."
7:53 "[Putting] wings on both arms take off to the wide open sky – Paratroopa Adventure – If you hold Joy-Cons in both hands, both arms suddenly turn into Paratroopa wings! Using the whole body completely turn into a Paratroopa, with the flapping of wings and degree of inclination forward, behind, to the left, to the right, control the body well and fly around the islands floating in the sky. – Collaborate/compete as 2 people"
8:16 "Not only having fun by flying [around] the surroundings of the islands leisurely without paying attention to the time, compete with the number of collected Para-Biddybuds, transporting the client to the destination by collaborating as 2 people… You can enjoy 3 ways of playing."
8:18 "The amount of strength and teamwork are the decisive factors – Toad Factory – 'Toad Factory' which makes the items used at the resort. Along with observing the manufacturing process, how about helping out? By moving the devices inside the factory, carry the ball with the materials of items to the goal. After finishing look forward to what kind of items you can produce. – Collaborate as 4 people"
8:32 "Mode for 1 player – Party Helper Journey – while walking around the grounds freely, help with the party preparations"
8:46 "Taking over for a busy Kamek, help with the preparation of the Mario Party grounds. The grounds in the middle of preparation are all very busy! Moving around freely without dice blocks the 5 areas of Board Game Island, help people in trouble, occasionally play minigames etc. Like that, a journey of slightly helping begins." (The note says that the motion control minigames don't show up)
8:54 (In short, you go get the package from the shop and bring back the box to the Toad and he rewards you with a Mini Star – can also get those from playing minigames as seen later – and you have to collect at least 30 as you can see on the top left of the screen. When you do so Yellow Toad calls you to give you a souvenir, but then the sky turns dark…)
10:01 (Generally describes the searching for troubles – solving troubles – the aftermath that we've just seen in practice in the video and then lower point by point)

  3. Nice that we finally got to see the modes we only knew by name and I'm so happy that there's also a single-player mode – didn't expect it to be practically like Advance but better, personally absolutely welcome as I love that game despite it's issues!
The Championship Rules are really cool, too.

  4. The allies are cool. Just wanted the English video that just came out toad’s factory is my favorite new thing

  5. THEY TOOK THE MINI STARS FROM 9 AND 10, MADE A MODE REMINISCENT OF TOP 100'S MINIGAME ISLAND BUT BETTER, LETS GOOOOO

  6. I hope I can get it at the end of October, it looks way too good I'm so excited 😁

  7. 8:31 Hmm… I don’t remember seeing this mode in early previews or in any trailers. This is actually the first time I’m both seeing and hearing about it. I wonder… I suppose this is looking to be reminiscent of some sort of Mini-Game Island and then some… It’s actually rather interesting to have the stages for this mode be the actual boards themselves.

On another note, I’m glad to be seeing Jamboree pull from almost every Mario Party of the past. The only one game it didn’t really seem to pull something unique from, from what I can tell, is Mario Party: Island Tour, unless I’m missing something (I hope I am, so that every Mario Party of the past can properly get their representation here).

Do you think there’s something in Jamboree that was pulled from Island Tour that I missed, Swiftjar?

  8. I see so many people saying «I would love to know what it says» when things is written in Japanese. You know there is a camera function in the Google Translate app on the phone. That way you can just hold up your phone in front of your computer screen, and it will translate in real time.

  9. I wonder if that broozer punching the wall means creepy cavern as dlc. Interesting

  10. Oh I thought bowser space will cause you to lose double as much with jamboree friend. For example if you roll 20 coins you would use 40 coins. But you actually roll the bowser roulette twice. On first picture at 12:27 Luigi loses 20 coins to bowser. On second picture Bowser says(translated with google translate): "If you thought this was the end, you were wrong! I have friends with me, so let's enjoy it one more time!" I think the "I have friends with me" is meant to mean "you have a friend with you" but wasnt translated accurately so you basically go to bowser space again if you have Jamboree friend. And Luigi lost a star on the second bowser space effect. So he lost 20 coins and a star when stepping on a bowser space with Jamboree friend. Also the flying mode will make people sore as hell. Like theyre supposed to flap their arms like wings for 150 seconds? lol. And the fact that Broozer was punching into crack in the wall confirms that there is definitely something. But I still dont think its another board. It will most likely unlock some mode.

  11. I’m reaching so hard here but what if that Bruiser that is punching at Mega Wiggler eventually goes down to punch where the x is and we see what’s inside? 😱 New board maybe? Doubtful but man I hope so.

The championship mode looks absolutely brutal and reminds me of something out of Mario Party 1! Lol I’m so in.

  12. Finally. More big news from a big Mario Party.

But my question is: Do you have to unlock everything by completing Challenge Mode? Or do you just buy them at Shopping (if there is) using party points? Because that might mean earning party points is party pointless.

  13. On the Google app you can live translate, you could have pointed your smartphone camera at the on screen text and got an instant translation, which you could have added to the video, now I've got to go on the website and do it myself!

  14. I love how they're using stuff from EVERY Mario Party. The Classic formula, Super, DS, Star Rush, 9 and 10, even Mario Party Advanced of all things!

  15. Thank you sooo much for making a breakdown!! It's really helpfull and fun to watch!!!

  16. Love these chilled vibes videos from you swift! Looking forward to your detailed analysis

  17. This game looks so fantastic i can't wait for this game.
    😮
Although i think they dumped all the get coin events in rainbow galleria and i think its cooked so I'm probably least hype for that 1.

I'm most hype for Goomba Lagoon.
And the onky thing idc about is the flying thing

  18. Maybe the single player is a bit like Mario Party Advance's, where u do errants for various NPCs all over the map, rather than competing with anyone, and sure as heck Advance-style missions and Mini Stars coming back from 9 and 10 wasn't on my bingo card xd

  19. What’s so confusing about the single player mode? It’s self explanatory you get enough stars completing missions ala Mario party advance and once you get enough you do the boss and move onto the next board
