the old tactical AR used to cook, back in chapter 4 there was an augment that gave u the tactical AR and combat shotty and you can bet I was hitting the griddy just upon seeing it, man I miss the old one

OGs remember the John Wick tac AR

It was so perfect, so beautiful. My favourite ar even… before it had actual bullets. Hitscan tac ar will always be in my top 5 ars with the MK-7 in first, combat ar in second, hitscan tac in 3rd, evochrome burst in 4th and hitscan striker burst in 5th.

Honestly, having an analysis and time to test out the weapon, I can easily say that it worked it's way up my list rather quickly. Sure, the OG Tac AR was one of, if not, my favorite weapon in the game, but this one has some solid usage as well. Once the combat AR got added like halfway through the season, it was made much more clear that the updated Tactical Assault Rifle is NOT as bad as people say it is. It's solid for mid-range, especially with lower than average recoil, and can hit some pretty long shots when necessary. Is has potential for short-range, although not recommended against other weapons made for that. Scopes will always give an advantages, due to changing up the weapon dynamic, from RNG bullet bloom to straight up hitscan. Either way, this weapon is very versatile, despite the backlash it got at launch
