From producer M. Night Shyamalan comes “The Watchers,” written and directed by Ishana Night Shyamalan and based on the novel by A.M. Shine. The film follows Mina, a 28-year-old artist, who gets stranded in an expansive, untouched forest in western Ireland. When Mina finds shelter, she unknowingly becomes trapped alongside three strangers who are watched and stalked by mysterious creatures each night.

You can’t see them, but they see everything.

“The Watchers” stars Dakota Fanning (“Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” “Ocean’s Eight”), Georgina Campbell (“Barbarian,” “Suspicion”), Oliver Finnegan (“Creeped Out,” “Outlander”) and Olwen Fouere (“The Northman,” “The Tourist”). The film is produced by M. Night Shyamalan, Ashwin Rajan and Nimitt Mankad. The executive producers are Jo Homewood and Stephen Dembitzer.

  1. The book is so good everyone read it the movie brings in different things but the book is scarier

  2. Does anyone else hear Spoilsbury Toast Boy music on the Gramophone? And don’t the things outside sound like giant bugs/cockroaches?? I think he got this idea from David Firth lol

  3. Despite what the critics say, I actually enjoyed the movie. Good thing they decided with that ending and not some ambiguous bs most edgy filmmakers of today would go with (for example making the audience guess if that is still the protagonist, if they really went out, etc.)
The guy who played Daniel (stupid character btw) in some scenes looks like (and acts like) actor Andrew Scott.

  4. I hate that M Night shyamalan gets dragged because he decides to step out if the norm and bring new horror to the big screen. People in Hollywood are just remaking everything while he comes to the table with freah stuff. I can only hope his daughter is as brilliant as he is after growing up related to a mind like that. Fixin to watch it online right now. Im really not about paying $17 for a movie ticket. Don't care what movie it is, thats just yoo much. Especially when they charge $20 for a bag of popcorn

  5. i want a part 2!!! happy ending or not!! if humans and fairies became friends again or start a war its okk i want another movie !!

  6. Honestly loved the film, very different concept, worth the watch! Very entertaining

  7. In the Philippines we called it
    "Engkanto" a mythical Creature 😨

  8. Watched the movie today. It's definitely worth a watch. It's a tad slower than what I'd like. Dakota did a good job. There's no nonsense being smashed in your face. A decent twist in the end that you'd expect from M. Night Shyamalan's daughter…

  9. This is one of the best movies i have ever watched… Something special in the horror genre, hope they make part 2

  10. It is ACTUALLY QUITE GOOD.
Didn't expect it but turns out to be a very good story,They can easily make sequels..

  11. I'm convinced this is inspired by the Witcher series. The monster lore and title alone. Esp near the ending

  12. After seeing the movie, I learned that The Watchers are just like Doppelgangers. I believe in Doppelgangers cuz my friend's aunt swore she saw me heading to my friend's house. She called me but I just ignored her. She followed me as I entered the house. Her aunt saw me in the daytime. My friend's place is 6 hours away on a bus from my city and at the time her aunt saw me, I was still on the bus on my way there. That was so creepy!

  13. I'll say this: even though there is no violence in the movie, it was still incredibly good. It's the first time I've ever seen a movie without any violence and still found it to be excellent.
