I think what made these old silent hill and resident evil games what they were was the not so great graphics. I don’t know what to think about this yet it definitely doesn’t feel the same. I love the genre and I’ve missed it so much, but as of right now I think I’m going to pass on it sadly.

Pyramid head is to short and skinny not menacing at all

I didnt find the original that scary because it was bright and "safe" all the time, and you were warned early from any danger. Making it darker really did it a favor.

They didn't animate the character climbing the steps.

The enemy comes out from under the car and hits the character's foot, but it doesn't feel like that at all.
