Mobile gaming was a big part of my childhood, especially games based on DC or Marvel. Today I talk about the weird history both companies had when it came to releasing video games for iOS and Android. Remember to check out @DiegoReviews channel!

  1. This came out the day after i played tasm2 (through an apk) due to not having money to get the game when it was listed ,thats intresting

  2. There's a few games that weren't mentioned and are still supported. Marvel Snap is really fun and gets a whole new theme each month and a paid pass to match and DC has a Bejewled type game called DC Heroes and Villains which is fun but very greedy with micro transactions so I stopped playing a while ago

  3. I don't even think Beast boy fans would pay 100 bucks. Not without the unfortunate desire for an actual good DC game again.

  4. I can confirm that Contest of Champions in longer perspective is just as awful and greedy as Injustice 2, if not more. The star values are fixed, and to play on any decent level, you need characters with 4 or more stars, which require insane amounts of grinding or paying from the player only to then get screwed by the lootbox system, which indiscriminately hates all players.

  5. I really have no clue how you don't have more subscribe, every video you make is always super enjoyable.

PS: Could you give a link to the Captain America winter soldier game, I've literally been looking for it for weeks and can't find it anywhere

  6. The only two I really got into were Injustice 1 and the spider man unlimited. I spent so much time on unlimited until i had to uninstall it cuz i needed space on my phone.
Injustice 1, I never enjoyed playing that much ( I wasn't very good at it) but I kept doing cuz I loved the character roster and wanted to keep collecting more of them.

  7. Literally the same day you uploaded this, one of my favorite Injustice YouTubers from my childhood unprivated all his content…

  8. Fun fact, in the TASM 2 mobile game, Spider-Man is voiced by Yuri Lowenthal. Yeah, THAT Yuri Lowenthal from the Insomniac games

  9. Out of all the major Marvel and DC Games, I'm quite surprised Marvel Strike Force, nor Marvel Snap were not mentioned as they are the two biggest Marvel mobile games currently with a lot of support. The only one out of the list that I played however is Marvel Puzzle Quest. I say that game is pretty much alright for what it does. Also, if you decide to do a Gameloft centered video, there is a LEGO Game in there that has a really interesting history and development.

  10. Played that suicide squad game as a kid and it had a bit of killing floor feeling to it, and it's probably what tricked me into thinking the movie was decent at the time. Also I loved the Injustice mobile game and prefer it way more to Contest of Champions, because atleast I could fully upgrade a character within the span of a year without grinding too hard

  11. I liked the suicide squad game cause its like the zombies mode form cod black ops my main complain with it is that it has one map and it gets a bit repetitive

  12. Great video! I really liked the analysis on each mobile game and how they compare to each other. I still play MCOC regularly bc of how good it is, tho it does get rly hard once u get to act 5-6. If u ever do another one of these, PLEASE talk about Marvel Strike Force. Easily the best of all DC and marvel Mobile games, one I've been playing non-stop for 6 years, I think you'd have a really fun time with it.

  13. Great video. There were definitely some java games before these. I miss those games. For like the price of a coffee you'd get a decent game that lasted about an hour
