The visual difference of the regular PS5 vs the Pro is negligible… I can barely even see the difference 😂 just laughable they think that justifies some of the bullshit price. Staying with OG ps5, just fine for me.

Here's my issue. There's like 10 PS5 exclusive titles, and 2 of those are remasters. You're paying 700-800$ to increase the framerate for games designed to be played on 11 year old hardware. No amount of hardware improvement is going to make a PS4 game not look like a PS4 game.

Maybe Sony lowered our ps5 normal ones so that the pro looks better, never trust anything digital.

If I ever choose to get a ps4 pro, i'm waiting a few months for any kinks to be worked out. Or to buy a refurbished version from a reliable source. Price is lower that way.

Unless you're a frame rate junkie, no need for an upgrade. Buy a ps5 with a disc drive, buy an SSD upgrade, and spend on discs because discs are always better. Same amount of money, much better usage.

Used ps5 are flooding the market.. just get a used ps5 for $300-$400… literally no point in getting the pro if u have a that and a monitor that can get your frames to 120…

Spider-Man 2 is almost a year old already. There’s no reason to bring any updates or DLC to it. I haven’t played it since I platinum’d it in 2023.

People like to whine but guess what? On release day it will be sold out everywhere and nowhere to be found for weeks/ months. In Europe we pay €1100=$1050 for the console, discdrive and vertical stand.Everything is expensive nowadays. Like one in the video says: high end mobile phones are the last few years between €1000 – €2500 (Foldables). I expected the price of the new console knowing the price increase in China. At the end of the day.. Sony is a business, not a charity designing hardware from the goodness of their hearts and it has to be said. The Pro model is not mandatory for playing the latest and greatest. The standard PS5 will play all those games just fine. With the Pro we consumers have more choice and that's always a good thing.
