I'm going to be completely honest, this looks great, but I really don't know how I feel about the character designs. Their faces look too "pretty" and too similar to one another. I feel like the style kinda deviates what made this series special and it's own thing. Maybe it's too early to judge, but I will be keeping an eye out for this!

I am glad they went with these character models; makes their drip look allot better.

The character models do look great, but I'm a little sad they lost the uniqueness that just screamed "that's a 'My time at __'" game. Sandrock was a great midpoint between the funny Portia look and a more realistic balance. Looks a little Palia/generic now. The game itself looks amazing, very Portia/Sandrocky and true to the series. I'll be playing regardless and am excited for the new journey!

My Time at Portia is one of favorite game ever, i didn’t have enough time to fully play Sandrock but i still really like it, so i was hyped for this new episode until i see the new character design… so sad you decide to throw the old character design for this really generic one. Hope you didn’t remove other essential things of the formula…

I don't really like the newer character models. They look a bit too generic for me and i prefer sandrock's character models. Though i do love the idea of being governor and how beautiful the environment looks

I honestly loveee the character designs!! I know they stray a bit from the my time characters we know and love … but these characters are hot!😅 they look older too which I love.

Glad they are finally getting rid of the big head style. Although the new models need a bit more work to have a more unique feel to them, closer to the 2D concept art.

Tbh I haven't even married in Portia and Sandrock LOL I just live the life of player with bunch of gf / bf 😂 I kinda hope this will have poly relationship. Maybe some character have different preferences, like BG3 hehee. But if there's no poly then I guess Imma continue the player lifestyle 😂

Are the model changes a flat change all round to characters in the series or is this going to be a regional thing? For example like how Mint came over from Portia to Sandrock, if a character from one of the previous titles came to Evershine will they retain their old character models or be upgraded to this new look?
