  1. Ah dude. Comparing them to apple and android really messed up my perspective. 😅 I want the simplicity of of the steam deck, but i want the performance of the Ally X. Price isnt a huge concern. Also i have a bloated Xbox library. I dont have a single game on Steam. 😬 I was leaning Ally X, then I started drifting more toward the Deck, now im leaning back toward the Ally. 🙄 Someone decide for me. Lmao

  2. where i live it would work out better and cheaper to buy a rog ally x then a steam deck oled

    The prices where i live:

steam deck oled (500 gb of storage ): 18500

    steam deck (64gb): 15000

    rog ally X(1tb): 17999

    rog ally (500gb): 12000

as you can see it would cheaper to buy the rog ally (X) then the steam deck (oled)

note: the levono legion go goes for about 14000 to 18000

  3. After reading all these comments i still don't know which one is the best

  4. Wanna hear something sad. In South Africa the Deck Oled cots the same as the ROG Ally X.

At the best deals for both.

  5. I see the 1st MSI claw being a really good value for money handheld in a couple years once it's successor has released and a lot of the driver issues have been ironed out.

  6. I had the Steam Deck, and now have the ROG Ally X. For me the Steam Deck was limited as I like Xbox Game Pass which also has EA Pass. Call of Duty, Forza, BF2042 and PubG are my top games I play and I was not able to use the Steam Deck to play these games. The Ally X is faster and allows me to play all of my favorites. The Windows 11 experience has been excellent with zero issues or bugs. With still having Steam I can play everything I could on my Steam Deck and then a whole lot more. So for extra game compatibility, battery life and freedom of Windows 11 its worth the price difference to me!

  7. Got Steam Deck LCD first, and then jumped the gun and bought Legion Go and gave Steam Deck to my sis.

I'm loving the Legion Go. Just put Steam on Big Picture mode and it feels similar to Steam Deck. We're now happiky playing co-op games with different OS.

  8. As someone who hasn't had a pc in 20 years and has only used android based device's. How difficult is it getting emulators on these types of devices? On android most i can just get in the play store.

  9. I’m waiting for steam os to come to the rog ally x I definitely think the steam os is the most straightforward setup to have for my games and made things so much more simple for my I still have my lcd steam deck and honestly I’m still satisfied with tbh I’ve been waiting patiently merely for whichever system was the strongest and then the update about steam os finally coming to other handheld made me start coming to videos like this I could get a rog ally x now but I still have the patience who knows by the time it does come to the rog ally x might start getting discounts

  10. I have the LCD Steam Deck. I use it for my older/retro games. For the more graphic intensive newer games, that's what my Kegion Go is for. There's no arguing with that incredible screen

  11. Anyone using steam deck has no idea what lossless scaling is & thats… unfortunate. Two Aya Neo devices that are hard to acquire belong near the top of the list. The Aya Neo Air S1 & the Aya Neo Flip DS. These & the Legion Go are about as good as it gets. The Steam Deck OLED Windows version is underrated. The Linux version is overrated, but the windows version is a sleeper pick.

  12. There’s a few games I want on the steam deck before I know I can buy it. Since it’s a pc handheld game I hope they can find a way to put old games on there such as deer avenger 4 I know it can play toontown. But I also am not a computer tech person so idk if it will work for me

  13. Just the video i was looking for. Appreciate you taking the time.

Think ima go with the Legion Go, or just wait for 2nd version to come out.

  14. Im so lost…..i wanted to know the latest in handhelds…..expecting psp and nintendo switch…..i didnt even know these existed. Im so far behind

  15. The big strike against Steam Deck is that it wont run Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. Therefor looking elsewhere.

  16. hi what should i buy guys, i would use it a lott cause im a truckdriver. insted off a lapot.. soo what should you choose and why?

  17. I have the Legion Go, and love it, but one thing really annoys me about it – the US get a 1TB drive, whereas we in the UK (and possibly EU?) only get half that, for basically the same price. It's the sort of thing that drives you mad sometimes.

Playing from an SD card is really solid though – I get a solid 70FPS on Forza Horizon 4 at pretty decent settings playing from a microSD, which genuinely surprised me.

Lossless Scaling is your friend too. The best £5/$7 you'll ever spend if you have one of these devices.

  18. Steam Deck OLED all the way. Best gaming device I ever bought and I own PS5, Series X, Switch OLED and a beefy PC.
Just so well thought out and the screen is just killer.

  19. The Logitech g cloud is built amazing, sooo comfortable to hold , buttons and d pad is amazing.. why cant these companies copy the build?? Even the 1080p screen and speakers are wonderful…only bad thing its a steaming device only

  20. Steam decks are for broke people who dont mind playing games at 30 fps ..if you got the money …buy the rog ally x and dual boot bazzite…run steam os , and windows …never need a pc again

  21. There is no best handheld. If I were to vote for best for me, I’d say an Aya Neo Air 1s. But best is based on the user.

  22. I had a Steam Deck, tried an Ally but had several SD cards fry, went with the Legion Go. The detachable controllers especially with FPS mode is money. Steam Deck just had too many compromises for me. I like the Ally but the quality control issues suck. I love the Go. I travel the world and use it as a dock-able work computer when I travel. Go somewhere for work, then game at night or connect it to the hotel TV for Netflix, Disney+ etc.

  23. It would be nice to have a dedicated Windows for handheld gaming. Something like Xbox dashboard would cut it.

  24. I'm probably getting the Steam Deck OLED for Christmas Because I want portable and My favorite game is there!

  25. Steam deck oled vs old ally and you went oled. Hell no. Steam deck anything is trash 😂. Gamble to see if game even works or go through hoops trying to make it. Overrated ui, and then one day forgot to charge and never can get it back on. Didn't even bother, what a piece of trash
