Oppo Reno 12 Pro 5G | Unboxing, Camera, Gaming & Beyond!

Unboxing the Oppo Reno 12 Pro 5G, with an early review of the camera performance, gaming with Genshin Impact, battery life and more. This full tour of the Oppo Reno 12 Pro 5G also shows off those AI smarts – and this phone hits the UK for £499 in June.

The global version of this mid-range Android smartphone sadly scales down the power, with a lesser Dimensity chipset running the show. I did see some judders and shakes here and there, especially when playing games like Genshin Impact on higher graphics. Still, you can get gaming on the Oppo Reno 12 Pro 5G if you drop the settings.

Battery life is an absolute highlight, while ColorOS serves up quite a few good AI features. Website summary, photo editing, etc – all familiar, but well implemented. And the Oppo Reno 12 Pro 5G’s camera is on the whole dependable too. Occasionally it’s foiled by bright light or movement, but otherwise good stuff.

That’s what I think of the Oppo Reno 12 Pro 5G, let me know your own thoughts on this…

  1. I love the mid-range chinese phones, they have better gimmicks that are actually useful and make the phones more fun.

  2. Great introduction. But, is this model work very compatible with T-Mobile 5G network? Because I read some web information that the 5G band frequency matching rate is less than 40%…

  3. Don't buy an OPPO, or listen to this Muppet, they are a cheap China phone, bad battery life and break easily

  4. 1:38 You do know an alloy is just a combination of mettles, usually to give improved strength. Gold rings for example are alloys because they arent pure gold as thats way too soft. Bronze is also another example.

  5. Sadge. I didnt get the condom case. Australians have to purchase it separately for $39.99
EDIT: does Oppo have an app to transfer all your texts/sms's with their included attachments (mms) and call logs from your older Oppo phone to your new one? Im procrastinating on making the switch coz I dont wanna lose all those msgs.

  6. I'm watching this from my Oppo Reno 2F bought 2019. Since then, I keep watching Oppo Reno evolution without having money to change mine 😔. It is well.

  7. Sounds good I do wish oppo company makes softwear and android updates like Samsung for there mid range mobiles more updates that's there down full only fantastic smartphones but be better with updates

  8. You said that it is a shame that it is not a bit cheaper, but in Italy prices are not quite the same, the lowsest I found it is 382,34 € and a lot of other offerts under 400 euros… 🙂 soo I think this is actually quite a good deal!
