When I first found this weapon I saw the the frost build up. I assumed this was another STR INT weapon nobody was going to use. I was wrong. It was a STR Arcane weapon that nobody was going to use.

It feels like such a missed opportunity to have the frostbite uniquely scale with arcane in this instance, as the weapon description almost seems to imply. I know the weapon is balanced around multihits,which is probably why the frost doesnt scale, but its so low i only very rarely see it proc even against those enemies that can survive a series of corkscrews.
If it even scaled at half the usual rate, it would be far more useful.
It does hit hard af though, ill give it that.
I started playing through with it recently and have actually enjoyed the weapon quite a bit. With blessed dew and a sword of milos off hand, one can essentially rely completely on the aow even in deep dungeon crawls with no blue refills, add in the filligreed crest and ancestral horn and the skill is essentially free. I like using this in tandem with the marais sword to clear mobs and kill bosses respectively.

This feels like the kind of weapon that's just begging to be paired with different offhand options. Str/Arc gives you a lot of offhand choices, along with the frost buildup making an offhand cold infused option more attractive.
