  1. Even though PS5 has several exclusives, many of them are still also released on PS4 at this time

  2. Not all recent or later consoles support all parts of the backwards compatibility.
Some PS4 games, while only certain amount, aren’t playable on PS5; and excluding digitally for some on PSN, none of the games before PS4 games are even playable.
While Xbox Series X/S does offer much more backwards compatibility than PS5, same as PS5 not all of the games before Xbox Series X/S are playable on Xbox Series X/S, and this doesn’t even include Kinect games and any others that require (a) peripheral(s).
Nintendo Switch only support Switch games for physical games. Backwards compatibility are only digitally playable on NSO while not others and depends on what games you are talking about.
So backwards compatibility should be considered

  3. Vita had some of the best experiences for me. The fact that I could play ps1 and psp games on top of some solid ports and the consoles own games, made it the best handheld that I’ve ever owned in my opinion.

  4. Was expecting the Wii, PS1, and PS2 to be higher, and wasn't expecting to see PSVita on the list at all

  5. You guys ever hear of XBLIG?
The 360 had so many indie games, it was insane.

    *Edit: Google says over 3,300

  6. Switch is probably the best to play modern titles on thanks to it's portability (if you don't count the steam deck as a console)

But for a box you plug in to your tv I'm mixed between ps4 or ps2 both have a lot of great games

But if we're talking about just the number of games, I'm going for pc, the amount of games (I know it isn't a cobsole but still, including shovelware and "those" Games) on the platform is insane

  7. How is xbox one ahead of xbox series when xbox series can play the whole library of xbox one games?

  8. @user-iu9pf7tp6p backwards compatibility should be considered idiot.😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅

  9. I looked it up. The Playstation 1 has the most games with 7,900 games. The video is misleading and will be reported

  10. If you're factoring in backwards compatibility, shouldn't the Xbox Series X/S have more games than the Xbox One? What am I missing?

  11. I'm sorry but for me PS4 is the best. Just… U have a lot of games, so unique, so different… U want western? U have Red Dead, u want terror? U have Alien Isolation or Outlast or RE, u want adventure? U have Uncharted, u want mythology? U have God of war, u want history? U have AC, u want heroes? U have Spiderman or Batman… For real for me is the best I'll never change it (unless it broke then I have to)

  12. All right, as much as this list is great, you guys could’ve left out the backwards compatibility because that kinda feels like cheating..

  13. Ok, now remake this list WITHOUT backwards compatibility. Thát would be a much more interesting list.

  14. The commadore 64 couldn’t be considered because it was a computer but you could include the Commodore 64 Games System. All carts to my knowledge were compatible with it. As always please correct me if my facts are wrong 😊.

I completely agree with others that backwards compatibility should not count towards the library. It should only count if you need the console to play it. Because this list is not about computers, we can not count if they came out for computer. We are pretending they don’t exist for this example lol.

For instance, if we only payed attention to the games the switch has that have only ever come out for it, how close would we still be to that 10K of games? I’d love to see how the list changes when you can’t count a game that came out for the Nintendo entertainment system in 1985 today. Other consoles could have made the list and I would have loved to see which made it on.

  15. Surprised the vita has more games than psp, that doesn’t seem right. Sony supported the psp way longer than the vita

  16. That’s weird how they didn’t put the ps5 on there but the ps4 was on there and it’s fully ps4 backwards compatible………………

  17. The PS Vita deserved better. It was essentially a PS3 in handheld form and had so much potential

  18. Honorable Mentions:

    -Nintendo Entertainment System
    -Game Boy
    -Game Boy Advance
    -Nintendo DS
    -Nintendo 3DS

  19. Ngl, the fact is that PC has infinite games. Similarly to the mindeset of powershell, " if you can think of it, you can make it happen/get it by any means."

  20. The Switch 2 game library is going to be insane. With the New Power of the Switch 2, there are many more third party games, especially because Microsoft is now going cross platform

  21. Since the XBOX Series has full backwards compatibility with all XBOX ONE games (minus the Kinect), shouldn't it have the bigger library?

  22. Everyone 1st understood the point…quantity not equals to quality

    But technically
    Pc
    Ps2
    Nes
And mobile are four horsemen of gaming console of all time

  23. The xbox series x backwards capability is considered but ps2 being backwards capabtable with ps1 isn't? Plus not forgetting wii can play gc games

  24. Even after over a freaking 7 years the Nintendo Switch is the Best Console with the Most Games and Super Mario Odyssey is the Best Switch game of All Time. I like you started this video with Super Mario Odyssey and there is Nintendo Switch Red Mario Oled version what came in last year's october 6 with Detective Pikachu Returns game. But Pokémon Scarlet and Violet and The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom versions of Nintendo Switch Oled are more awesome looking Switch Oleds. 😮❤

  25. NES or FamiCom – Plenty of games plus hidden gems, and more games only released in Japan (not counting homebrew games)

  26. don't forget the Original Xbox Games too, seeing as you can get the DUKE Controller to use with Xbox One, Xbox Series X & S, which means the Xbox Console Library is now HUGE, as in how many of the fans in the comments and seeing this comment, had a Original Xbox account and brought several games from the original Xbox Store

  27. People who believed that the PS2 was going to be king of the largest library here…..

    👇

  28. If xbox backwards compatibilty was counted then did you count the vita's amd wii's as well or were they stamd alone?

  29. Yeah while I think that reverse compatibility shouldn't be for inclusion… it's just so the jump from number 2 to number 1 isn't just completely mind boggling which it still is…. but they are right the amount of just pure shovelware titles on the platform is absolutely ridiculous and almost makes being at the top of this list pointless because approximately like 90% of the games are borderline unplayable… such a shame
